*Coolant Separators are commonly located where in the event of dripping from coolant surges, there is a way the fluid is contained and may migrate right back into the tank or in some cases have a drain line back into the tank if the tank is not directly underneath the coolant separator. Coolant Surges, Fluctuations and overflow exceeding posted continuous GPM capacity will cause splashing, raised liquid operating heights causing dripping.
Therefore it’s recommended a trough, drain, mesh or drain off/containment design is utilized beneath Coolant Separator in such an event.
