Alnico magnets are permanent magnetic materials composed primarily of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt. They are known for exceptional temperature stability, corrosion resistance, and consistent magnetic performance in demanding industrial environments.

While Alnico magnets offer lower magnetic strength than rare earth materials, they excel in high-temperature applications where other magnet types may lose performance. Available Alnico shapes include bars, rods, rails, rotors, side pole rotors, and horseshoe magnets. Precision cutting, grinding, EDM, fabrication, and assembly are available to meet your specifications and tolerances.

Alnico magnets perform well in operating temperatures above 400°F and can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F depending on the grade and application. For optimal performance, Alnico magnets should typically have a length at least five times their diameter or cross-section.
